Regatta chairman Edward Ould presents Laser sailor Carl White, 15, of Richmond, the Gloucester Chamber of Commerce trophy as the regatta’s top junior sailor. White was a participant in the Junior Sailing program at WRYC this summer.

Congratulations to Mark and Kathy Wheeler, who took the 45th Annual Virginia Governor's Cup by virtue of having won the Hampton One-Design Class, the largest fleet at the weekend showdown at Ware River!
Congratulations also to Logan George, who earned the Congressman's Cup for Sportsmanship and to Carl White, winner of the Chamber of Commerce Cup, the top award in the junior division.
A total of 79 boats raced, 49 on the adult course, with an additional 30 youngsters on the junior course.
