The Ware River Yacht Club is proud to offer sailing instruction for kids (ages 8 and older). Our junior sailing program is comprised of three regular 2-week, full-day sessions and two 2-week 1/2 Opti-Kids sessions. This instruction is offered to members' children and out-of-town grandchildren at a reduced rate and ahead of the general public.

The program is overseen and supervised by adults, but also involves on-the-water instruction by some of the very gradulates of this program - the kids who attended the junior sailing program as kids each summer and developed a love for the sport and for the club.
