The 45th Annual Virginia Governor's Cup and Junior Sailing Regatta

As usual, this event will be held during the first weekend in August (Aug 1-2). Please put these dates on your calendar and consider sailing or volunteering during this important club event. We encourage club members to attend this event, even if not competing. It's a great weekend and the banquet Saturday evening will feature a pick-picking and live music. Look for more information coming soon!

This is a weekly evening series of fun and informal racing on the
Ware River for club members and other local small boat sailors.
New sailors can learn to sail their boats well and the
experienced sailors can hone their racing skills.

Kayaking!!

We are pleased to announce that the Chesapeake Experience will be offering three camp sessions at the Ware River Yacht Club this summer. One session will be offered to children aged 6-8 and two sessions for 9-12 year olds. Please visit the Chesapeake Experience website for more information, including session dates, program fees and registration forms.
